What is PPH pipe? How is PPH pipe?

Author:

There are many types of pipes, and many people are unclear about some terms related to pipes, such as PPR and PPH. PPR may be more familiar to many than PPH, but some may wonder, what is PPH pipe? How is PPH pipe? Let me introduce it to you.

What is PPH pipe?

In simple terms, PPH pipe (Polypropylene-Homo) is a modified version of ordinary PP material, which has a uniform and fine Beta crystalline structure, excellent chemical corrosion resistance, wear resistance, good insulation, high temperature resistance, with a working temperature of up to 100℃, non-toxic, lightweight, and easy to transport and install. It is a high-quality product that is more heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and aging-resistant than PP pipes.

How is PPH pipe?

The produced alloy polypropylene (PPH) pipes and fittings meet the German DIN8077/78 standards.

Characteristics of PPH pipe material

Chemical resistance----- Among all polypropylene pipes, tests have shown that (β)-PPH pipes have strong chemical resistance.

Long lifespan----- Beta-(β)-PPH pipes have a longer service life and higher system reliability.

Impact strength----- Compared to traditional (α)-PPH pipes, (β)-PPH pipes have significantly lower temperature impact strength.

Temperature resistance----- Depending on actual application conditions, (β)-PP-H pipes are suitable for a temperature range from -20℃ to +110℃.

Pressure resistance----- Among all polypropylene materials used in piping systems, (β)-PPH pipes have high pressure resistance (MRS10).

High performance----- (β)-PP-H pipes have excellent performance, and the use of flexible welding equipment along with a professional technical support team can not only ensure the welding installation quality of (β)-PP-H pipe systems but also provide customized processing of non-standard products as needed.
